How to use Chauffeur-driven Car Service from Careem App for Egypreneur Forum

You have probably heard that there is a new service in town that sends you a Chauffeur-driven car to help you making it on time while staying away from driving in messy traffic.

During Egypreneur Forum, we have a partnership with Careem that grants you credit to make it to the forum at nearly no cost, we thought to bring you a step by step instructions on how to use the App to book for Egypreneur Forum at The British University in Egypt next Sunday.

First, download Careem App from any App store, installation should be straight forward

The splash page for Careem App, will look something like this, if you haven’t used the App before you’ll need to choose to signup.

Choose whether you want to have the Car to drive now or later, it’s recommended that you always do later booking as this will guarantee the car will be at the pick up spot on time, Now booking might take more time to

Choose the pick up point, where would you like the driver to pick you up from.

Select dropoff location as The British University in Egypt

Select Pickup time, when do you want the driver to come to you. Depending on where you are coming from, it’s almost 1.5 hours drive from Central Cairo to El Sherouk City, so make sure to consider Careem calculator to be at The BUE by 9AM.

You’ll see a screen with full details of your books and you can also add notes to driver, if you received further instructions or if you are a speaker at the forum, you are eligible for a 100% free ride, ask Egypreneur about what to add their.

Make sure all details are accurate and in place and click YALLA!

If the credit that was deposited to you is enough for the ride you can add use the amount required, otherwise, you’ll need to add a credit card for more credit (doesn’t apply to Egypreneur Forum Speakers & Members).

You can also repeat the same process to book your returning trip, if you have exhausted all credit from the promo code you’ll need to provide alternative payment method to proceed.
