الريادي فادي رزق الله: صوت الشباب العربي

fady rezkalla

I am Fady Rezkalla. I am a student at the faculty of oral and dental medicine, Cairo University. I am an ACCESS alumni which was a great turning point in my life as it was the gate for me to join YES program where I had the chance to spend a year abroad as an exchange student. This experience has changed my life. It made me love my country and to take steps to make it a better one.

I am a very outgoing person, I love sports and I have tried 5 sports (Soccer, American football, Basketball, Volleyball, Water tubing). Also, I have joined a show choir (Dancing and vocal singing) and I was a member of Tri-M international honor music society. I used to attend competitions for Chess. Moreover, I have a big interest in psychology and study of human behavior. I also had been in some drawing competitions.

My family has always supported me and encouraged me to go out and try things and to share with them my feelings and ideas. They have always given me some main responsibilities including the money and savings and things like that. As a result I joined many NGOs and I have participated in many projects. One of my favorite projects was translating an NGO’s website into English. I am still a member in E-Era, I-Earn and AFS. Furthermore, I was a member of the organizing committee in E-youth and I was the head of logistic team in We are the leaders camp.  Nowadays, I am working on debates with (Young Arab Voices).

I joined a student activity its name is CMC (Changing Mind Concepts). I was a member at the HR committee. One of the main problems which I had faced was the lack of flexibility and situation-adaptation besides the idea of following a fixed system with no regard to the situation. This way of thinking was followed as a result of the idea that we are an organized activity because we follow the rules. In my opinion, Relating to the situation is more important than the strategy on which we have agreed.

Finally, I want to be able to deal better with conflicts as I am that kind of man who doesn’t like to work in an atmosphere full of negative energy. I believe that being in a comfortable environment is very important to be able to give and produce more.

                       Thank You
